I noticed that a bunch of errors fly past when I run my virtual machine in vmware. I looked in that virtual machines files and I now have a few folders that have .lck added to identical files listed. the .lck all were created at the same time. I don't know what these are, and if they matter. they each contain one file with 1 kb. what is the correct procedure now?
I want to try the advice at the knowledge base, but I can't see the errors in order to ascertain whether the advice is pertinent to me!. I am also concerned about closing down my guest now, since I don't know if I will be able to re-open Linux Mint. I will be very hesitant to use my firefox browser in windows XP, due to the current ending of support. I will have to connect that way in case of an emergency, but I want to avoid that. Thank you.
