Restore Virtual Machine after HDD Format

Hello to all.

Well I was stupid enough to format my second HDD where I had all my Virtual Machine data.

I have a Windows PC with:

   - 1 SD 80 GB for OS and programs

   - 1 HDD 500 GB for data

I installed VMWPlayer over my SD and then I created an Ubuntu VM with its data in my HDD. I was working since Thursday in some project and today I was almost finishing it, but then I had to save some data in my windows OS and accidentally formatted my HDD instead my USB pendrive so I lost all my information.

At this time I've ran an unformat sw and aparently it found what it seems to be my VM data, but then I don't know what to do to restore my VM to its previous state, I don't really know where my VM data is, I can see a VMWare folder where I know I chose to save my Virtual Machine information but what do I have to do to get back to life my work if possible is what I don't know it.

Can anyone throw my a line here please. When I try to open my VM, VMWare says

Unable to fin the virtual machine

E:\Users\Roger\My Documents\Virtual Machines\Ubuntu 12.04\Ubuntu 12.04.vmx

I had previosuly move my User folder to my HDD instead of the SD (C:) where the OS is installed.

Thank you so much
